Love Alive Ministries was founded in 2016 by Christopher Lioi and his late wife Rebecca with the vision of helping people get to know God on a personal level. After spending 2 full years in the word of God at Charis Bible College, they realized the more they got to know Jesus, the more they were able to love others and walk in miracles, signs ad wonders.

Rebecca passed into heaven in early 2025 after a long battle with juvenile diabetes. She experienced countless miracles over the years causing her to bounce back into life and life time and time again. We thank God for her dedication to share the good news about Jesus and set the captives free. We are forever grateful the truths we learned at Charis about the believers receive God's promises of healing, peace and joy by grace through faith. Scroll down to see Rebecca's obituary.

Remembering Rebecca

For 35 years, Rebecca was the devoted and loving wife of her husband Christopher Lioi a partnership deeply rooted in faith and mutual encouragement. Together, Christopher and Rebecca  sought to know God more intimately through Christ, a journey that deepened their love and support for one another with each passing year.
Rebecca remained steadfast in reading the Bible and gently encouraged Christopher to attend Charis Bible College, assuring him that this time away with God and His Word would do the necessary inner work—to help him know God better, relate to Him more deeply, and connect with people more effectively. Inspired by her words, Christopher and Rebecca attended Charis for 2 years.  They graduated in 2015. In the decade that followed, she faithfully championed his spiritual and ministry growth, standing beside him as—during a mission trip to Nicaragua—they co-founded Love Life Ministries Inc., and Purewater4kids, providing life-giving water purifiers to families with children in deeply impoverished communities in Nicaragua and hurricane-affected areas in Puerto Rico and the mainland United States.
Rebecca was a woman of unwavering encouragement, always speaking positive statements with pride about her husband and her entire family. A gifted artist, she delighted in pen-and-ink drawings, calligraphy, gardening—especially her flowers, herbs, and vegetables—and caring for the many beloved cats that graced their home over the years.

In her final years, Rebecca poured her heart into serving others, particularly her elderly neighbor Yonie of Bradenton, Florida—a remarkable woman of faith now 102 years old. The two became the closest of friends, with Rebecca faithfully driving Yonie to the grocery store, doctor’s appointments, and offering steadfast companionship. She was equally devoted to many women her own age, always ready to help in times of need and pray with them in faith.
Even in her last days, Rebecca’s faith stood rock-solid; she faced the end with remarkable strength and peace, certain that heaven awaited her. Her life was a quiet, powerful testimony of love, faithfulness, and grace.
