Jesus’ mission in just two verses.

In Isaiah,61:1-2 Jesus said, “The Spirit of the Lord GOD is on me, because the LORD has anointed me to bring good news to the poor. He has sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives and freedom to the prisoners; 2 to proclaim the year of the LORD’s favor, and the day of our God’s vengeance; to comfort all who mourn.”

Your heart is where the Lord dwells. You will know that your heart is broken if you have reoccurring relationship problems with others and with yourself. These human struggles are meant to be washed away in the word and presence of the Lord Jesus.

Therefore if you’re still struggling with relationships, it just means that you need your heart healed. You probably heard the term, “hurt people hurt people.“ it’s like the domino effect. One broken heart gets pinged, and then it blames another or blames themselves, and it just spirals down.

Jesus came to write his truth on our hearts that will make us free from this human struggle of accusation, disappointment, and blame. If it’s allowed to fester, the accusation, turns into anger, hatred, and then it can move into violence and murder. If you say to someone, “I don’t wanna see you ever again.” That is a form of murder. This is where the dark forces of the world would love us to go, but the bright light of heaven, Jesus saves us from all this if we just give him time to write his good news on our hearts!

Our main Bible study on this course, Foerever, free, really helps begin the process of writing the good news of Jesus on your heart. It takes time to change your heart focus from concerns about how other people treat you and how you, to how much Jesus and our Father loves you. Taking in and receiving the good news into your heart will produce the greatest life change you could ever imagine! The more we know him, the more eternal life we experience now in this life.
